Communication, ClickPay, and Compliance

COMMUNICATIONS

In our inaugural blog, we announced the rebranding of our company. During this phase, there have been some changes to how you can reach us at TMS when needed.

We know that getting an auto-attendant in a time of need can be frustrating. So we’ve decided to do away with it. When you contact TMS you will always reach a live person. It is important to us that you know we are aware and prepared to handle any issue you may have.

In the event of an emergency, service-related issue, or accounting, call us at 703-620-2500, you will reach a member of the TMS team immediately. In addition, using the following emails will also get you to us fast. We have multiple members of our team on the service email and our account is one push of the button away.

Service: service@workwithtms.com

By using the above methods to contact us, it allows us to streamline our communications and provide you a better experience in getting the highest possible service. So in the future please discontinue the use of direct emails, calls, or SMS to reach our property manager of the facilities team. In addition, when possible provide photos, this will help us understand the issue better. Our goal is to provide the best customer service possible.

Our executive team is readily available by phone as well:

President: Andy Lauer - 703.967-2417

CEO: Paul McNeal - 703.755.5030

GOING PAPERLESS

As a result of COVID-19 and to create efficiencies in operations, we are making every attempt to shift to paperless processes. In addition, it creates a safer working environment for our staff. The less paper we handle the more it removes the potential of contracting coronavirus.

We’ve asked all our vendors to shift to paperless invoicing and now we would like to ask you to consider shifting to electronic payments by utilizing our payment vendor ClickPay.

We’ve seen a significant amount of tenants across all associations we manage make the switch and would love to see 100% participation. Many of our tenants already pay via their own bank bill pay service and that is a great first step. However, what many are not aware of is that we still receive a paper check. In order to remove that last bit of paper, if you agree, we will do all the work. All you have to do is cancel your bill pay service. ClickPay will eliminate the paper check we receive. If you are still handwriting your check, again, if you give us the green light, you will no longer need to write that check; saving you time and money.

To sweeten the deal, if you sign up for ClickPay in the month of September, you and your office will be entered into a raffle to win a dozen Duck Donuts & Coffee delivered to your door!

It is our hope that you will partner with us in this effort.

COVID COMPLIANCE

The state of Virginia has become the first in the nation to impose COVID-19 workplace safety mandates and penalties. Businesses must comply with these requirements, per Governor Ralph Northam. The mandate went into effect on July 24th and employers will have 60 days to implement the standard. We encourage you to check with your legal counsel, as they might be able to provide you assistance with this matter in a timely manner. However, in the event you don’t have legal counsel, we have come across General Counsel Law, and the founder, Merritt Green provided us a discount code for our associations! Use code “TMS” at check out.
